Aerial bunched cables (ABC), also known as aerial bundled cables, are overhead power lines distribution cables. This system contrasts with traditional overhead lines that use non-insulated conductors with air gaps. ABCs are designed to reduce faults, improve safety, and minimise tree clearance issues, making them a preferred option for low-voltage (LV) and low-tension (LT) overhead lines.
Our Aerial Bunched Cables (ABC) are overhead power cables consist of multiple insulated conductors bunched together and twisted over a central bare/insulated (Al-MgSi alloy) messenger wire. These cables offer a safer, more reliable and theft resistant alternative to traditional bare conductor lines. These cables are suitable for use on 3-ϕ AC supply for rated voltage upto 1100 V.
